Marineland Melanesia is currently home to 13 crocodiles, Daily feeding demonstrations take place at 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM, offering an up-close look at these apex predators in action. One of the park’s most legendary inhabitants was Cassius, a saltwater crocodile measuring 5.48 meters and weighing over 1,000 kilograms. Estimated to be around 120 years old, Cassius passed away in October 2024. In tribute to this iconic reptile, the park will unveil a new exhibit titled “Cassius Forever” in late 2025. The exhibit will feature Cassius preserved through taxidermy, allowing future visitors to witness the legacy of one of nature’s most impressive creatures.
