Your journey begins with complimentary hotel transfers from central Cairns at 9:00 am or the option to self-drive to the Deeral departure point for check-in by 10:00 am. The vessel departs at 10:15 am for a scenic ride across the Coral Sea, arriving at Frankland Island where you’ll have ample time to enjoy its pristine beaches, shallow waters, and vibrant marine life.

Once on the island, you can swim, relax under the sun, or take advantage of included water sports equipment like kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Guests can also select one guided activity – either a semi-submersible reef tour for underwater viewing without getting wet, or a guided snorkelling session exploring the island’s reef gardens.

An optional picnic lunch can be pre-booked.  The boat departs Frankland Island mid-afternoon, returning to Deeral around 2:30 pm. Travel time from Deeral to Cairns is 45 minutes.
