Barron Falls - Din Din

• Experience the awe-inspiring Barron Falls, also known as Din Din, and engage in a Make Travel Matter® moment. This magnificent waterfall holds significant cultural importance to the Djabugay Aboriginal People. With a Djabugay Cultural Guide, participate in the Calling to Country ceremony and learn about the deep connection between the Djabugay nation and their land.

Skybury Coffee Plantation

• Journey to the Atherton Tablelands and explore Skybury Coffee Plantation, the oldest in Australia. Tour the coffee plantation and expansive papaya farm, then enjoy a delicious lunch featuring Skybury's unique coffee and papaya creations. Afterward, sample locally produced coffee and coffee liqueur while taking in the stunning views of the Atherton Tablelands.

This iconic rainforest experience includes time at both Red Peak and Barron Falls stations, both with lookouts offering spectacular views across the Barron Falls waterfall . Complimentary guided boardwalk tours are offered throughout the day at Red Peak Station.

  Kuranda Scenic Train: travel on board the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway from the quaint mountain top village of Kuranda to picturesque Freshwater Train Station.  Built back in the late 1800’s you’ll enjoy the tales of the early pioneers who constructed the rail line as you travel through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges!
  
  Meet your local guide at the cableway’s Smithfield Terminal and relax on the return coach journey to Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas.

In 2026, Skyrail Rainforest Cableway will undergo an exciting upgrade project to further enhance the guests experience. 
Including:

• Replacement of all cableway infrastructure and gondolas
• Improved accessibility
• Quieter, smoother journey

As part of Skyrail’s scheduled upgrade project, the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway will undergo works between 20 July and 25 October 2026, resulting in periods of full closure and modified operations.

Skyrail Full Closure (20th July – 18th August)

• We’ll operate tours with Coach Transfers to Kuranda + Scenic Rail Journey
• BONUS entry to choice of Birdworld or Kuranda Koala Gardens

Skyrail Modified Operations (19 August – 25 October)

• Skyrail will operate between Kuranda ⇄ Barron Falls Station as a Loop experience.
• We'll operate tours to Kuranda with, Coach Transfers + Scenic Rail + Skyrail Barron Falls loop 
• BONUS entry to choice of Birdworld or Kuranda Koala Gardens
