Experience the Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef in one unforgettable day. Enjoy a Dreamtime Walk at Mossman Gorge, snorkel Low Isles, cruise aboard a luxury catamaran and finish with a spectacular sunset sail from Port Douglas.
Experience two of Tropical North Queensland's most remarkable UNESCO World Heritage-listed destinations in one unforgettable day. Begin with a cultural journey through the ancient Daintree Rainforest at Mossman Gorge before sailing to the pristine Low Isles on the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkel vibrant coral gardens, explore the island with expert guides, cruise aboard a luxury sailing catamaran and finish the day with a sunset sail back to Port Douglas, complete with drinks, canapés and panoramic views of the Coral Sea.
Your day begins with a courtesy transfer from Port Douglas to Mossman Gorge, where you'll join experienced Kuku Yalanji guides for an authentic Dreamtime Walk through the Daintree Rainforest. Learn about one of the world's oldest living cultures as you discover traditional bush foods, medicinal plants, customs and Dreamtime stories passed down through generations. The experience begins with a traditional smoking ceremony before visiting a sacred site, watching soap and ochre paint-making demonstrations, and enjoying freshly prepared bush tea and damper.
Following your rainforest experience, travel to Port Douglas Marina to board the premium Sailaway catamaran for your Great Barrier Reef adventure. After a welcome briefing and light lunch, relax as you sail across the Coral Sea to the beautiful Low Isles, one of the closest coral cays to Port Douglas.
Spend approximately three hours exploring this tropical island paradise at your own pace. Join a guided snorkel tour led by a marine biologist and discover colourful coral gardens, tropical fish and resident sea turtles in the sheltered lagoon. Beginners receive full instruction and in-water assistance, making this experience suitable for all confidence levels.
If you prefer to stay dry, board the 100% solar-electric glass bottom boat for an informative reef tour, offering exceptional views of the coral without entering the water. Alternatively, enjoy a guided island nature walk to learn about the island's history, birdlife, native vegetation and the historic lighthouse, which has watched over the reef since 1878.
After returning to the catamaran, enjoy freshly baked scones with jam and cream, seasonal fruit and refreshments before setting sail for Port Douglas. As the afternoon light fades, complimentary drinks and gourmet canapés are served while you enjoy one of the region's most spectacular sunset sails. Watch the Daintree Mountains and Coral Sea transform with golden light as you cruise back to the marina.
