Itinerary

After your later pickup from Cairns at around 10.05am you will be taken to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.

11.45am - travel on Skyrail Rainforest Cableway from Smithfield Terminal. The 7.5km Skyrail journey takes 40 to 50 minutes, however we recommend you spend time at the two stations enroute: Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station.

1.00pm - Arrive at Kuranda Village and spend your free time wandering through the Village.

Kuranda Village is also known as the Village in the Rainforest. Grab something to eat at one of the numerous cafes and eateries, visit the markets (please check the markets schedule) below.

A must see while your are in the village is the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary; make sure to show your Kuranda Express ticket/voucher to receive a 10% discount off your entry.

1.45pm - time to head to Rainforestation. Your transfer bus will pick you up from the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.

At Rainforestation, you will enjoy a range of activities that will allow you to experience the best of the Australian rainforest.

Get ready to:

• Watch a traditional Aboriginal dance performance and join theDreamtime Walk.
• Learn to throw a boomerang and watch spear-throwing and didgeridoo playing.
• Travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water, with your Army Duck Guided Tour and understand the different species of flora and fauna.
• Have an opportunity to take a photo with a koala or a reptile (additional charges apply).

4.15pm - after such a fulfilling day it is time to return to your Cairns accommodation or cruise ship.

Your coach will be ready at Rainforestation Nature Park to transfer you back to Cairns. Your journey will take around 1 hour.
