Day 1. Cairns to Daintree Rainforest
Journey north along the spectacular Great Barrier Reef Drive towards the Daintree Rainforest. Enjoy a Daintree River Crocodile Cruise, then take in panoramic views from Alexandra Range Lookout. Stop by the Daintree Ice Cream Factory for a local treat and stroll the Marddja Boardwalk, a tranquil walk through the ancient forest. Continue on to Cape Tribulation for a guided night walk, discovering the rainforest as it comes alive after dark.

Day 2. Daintree Rainforest to Cooktown

Day 3. Cooktown to Wolverton Station
Head west through Lakeland, stopping at Split Rock Aboriginal Rock Art, an ancient site of cultural significance. Day 7. Bramwell Station to Cape York Peninsula – “The Tip”
Head north along parts of the Old Telegraph Track, stopping at Fruit Bat Falls and, conditions permitting, Elliot Falls. Cross the Jardine River and visit the Croc Tent before reaching the northernmost point of mainland Australia – Pajinka (The Tip). After a short scenic walk, settle into your accommodation and enjoy a sunset over Punsand Bay.

Day 8. The Tip and Roko Island
Begin the day with visits to Summerset, Fly Point, and the Five Beaches Drive before boarding a boat to Roko Island. You may also opt for a Half-Day Fishing Charter, chasing coral trout, mackerel, and trevally with local experts.

If you cancel your booking with us, you must notify us in writing or by email at bookings@farnorthescapes.com and pay a cancellation fee in the amount set out below.
If payment is not received by the due date notified, Far North Escapes reserves the right to cancel the booking.
