From Cairns this the perfect half day small group rainforest adventure tour. This rainforest tour will have you driving through creeks and mountain tracks, marvelling at the waterfalls and getting up close and personal with some of the oldest flora, fauna and wildlife in the world just outside Cairns.

Your half day rainforest tour begins with one of our friendly and knowledgeable Accredited Naturalist Guides collecting you from your accommodation at approximately 7:00am or 1:00pm in a comfortable 4WD vehicle to begin your journey on your half day Cairns rainforest tour.

You will head north and off road to reach the beautiful Davies Creek Falls where you can enjoy an optional swim before a well deserved Tropical Fruit Tasting Share Platter.

Exciting creek crossings await (during green season) to give you a unique 4WD experience suitable for all adventure levels.

This is where you have time to enjoy morning or afternoon tea taking in the secluded surrounds.

The journey then continues arriving at the Clohesy River.

It’s time to stretch your legs and enjoy the informative guided walk along the Clohesy River Boardwalk, appreciating the peace and serenity of the secluded rainforest surrounds.

Here you will see the amazing, ancient Clohesy Fig Tree.

Heading away from the lush rainforest you will be surprised by the quick change in scenery from the lush wet tropics to the dry outback savannah.

Discover the picturesque termite mounds while learning even more about the region from the informative tour guide.

The 4WD will then make its way up to Wrights Lookout with spectacular views of Cairns city and surrounding region. Just spectacular!

Your four wheel drive tour will continue onto the mighty Barron Falls/Lower look out.

This is one of the most well-known waterfalls in Tropical Far North Queensland, boasting a lovely view all year round.

This will allow for more fantastic photo opportunities.

As the tour concludes you will make your way down the Kuranda range to the spectacular Henry Ross Lookout. This spot provides a breathtaking backdrop overlooking the Coral Sea before making your comfortable journey back to your accommodation.
