Our vessel has open viewing decks offering you uninterrupted views of the riverbanks and its abundant wildlife and more particularly birds. Wildlife sightings are common, particularly around Stott’s Island Nature Reserve where sea eagles and other native birds of prey are frequently seen.

This Tweed River cruise is ideal for visitors staying on the southern Gold Coast, Kingscliff or Tweed Heads area. We are conveniently located 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport and 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise.
Our Tweed River 3 hour lunch cruise is a relaxing experience offering some spectacular views of the Tweed River valley. You will travel through a landscape of mangroves, fertile farmland and subtropical rainforest.
Along the way you will benefit from our captain's local knowledge of the area; learn all about the Tweed Valley’s maritime past, appreciate the Indigenous cultural connections to the river and of course the unique ecosystems and its wildlife.
Morning tea is served early and includes freshly baked cake with locally grown tea or coffee. As the cruise continues, guests can relax on deck while watching for dolphins, seabirds and other native wildlife along the riverbanks.
One of the cruise's highlight happens near Stott’s Island Nature Reserve where you may witness sea eagles and other birds of prey during a guided feeding encounter. This is a protected area harbouring a wide variety of bird species.
A little later a grazing style lunch is served at your table. The platter features locally sourced ingredients including fresh Tweed trawler prawns, deli meats, cheeses, homemade quiches, bakery breads, seasonal fruits and relishes. A dozen oysters can also be added, please see optional extras.

Operator Cancellations: If we need to cancel your booking due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or credit.
Customer Cancellations (within 7 days of travel): Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled departure are non-refundable. In extenuating circumstances, we may offer a cruise credit, subject to discussion at the time of cancellation. Cruises still operate in rainy weather.
Customer Cancellations (outside 7 days of travel): Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance are eligible for a refund, cruise credit, or the option to rebook at no additional fee.
No-shows: Failure to show up for your scheduled trip will result in a charge for the full price of the booking.
Late arrivals: Cruises depart at the scheduled time. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. Late arrivals will be considered no-shows.
