Port Douglas Wheelchair Access

Port Douglas Tours - Four Mile Beach

For the first time in Port Douglas and Cairns Northern Beaches area, the mobility impaired will have easy access to the beautiful beaches on Queensland’s only all terrain wheelchairs.

There are two available – one in Port Douglas on Four Mile Beach and one in Cairns most beautiful beach, Palm Cove.

These wheelchairs are a great breakthrough for those with a disability or limited mobility.  It gives them equal opportunity to see Port Douglas’s Four Mile Beach in comfort.  Not many swimmers or beach goers who are mobility impaired visited Port Douglas in the past due to the sandy beach being so difficult to access in a regular wheelchair.
