What to Expect

Begin a half-day Great Barrier Reef tour from Cairns Marlin Marina that blends an exhilarating ocean adventure with panoramic aerial views of the reef. 

The 8:00am Snorkel/Fly departure starts with a fast journey across the Coral Sea aboard a purpose-built vessel carrying no more than 27 guests. Snorkelling takes place at either Upolu Reef or Breaking Patches, both known for excellent visibility, thriving coral gardens and a diverse range of marine life.

Once your in-water time concludes, transfers take you to General Aviation where a 40-minute scenic flight reveals the reef from above. Sweeping views extend across Green Island, Michaelmas Cay and the reef sites visited earlier in the morning.

Guests selecting the 11:00am Fly/Snorkel begin with the scenic flight before returning to Cairns Marlin Marina to join the vessel for their reef exploration. Transfers between the Pier Shopping Centre check-in location and the aviation terminal are included for both options.

With just 7 guests per aircraft and a maximum of 27 guests on the vessel, this tour maintains a relaxed, personalised atmosphere with uninterrupted views both on the water and in the air.
