Palm Cove (one of Cairns’ northern beaches) is located 25 minutes north of Cairns. It has developed dramatically over the last seven years. Palm Cove has one of Australia’s most picturesque beaches (inaugural winner of Australia’s Cleanest Beach award) and the quaintest little village atmosphere.
It has now become affectionately known as the “Spa Capital of Australia” There are six spas in Palm Cove, two of which — Angsana Resort and Spa Palm Cove and Sebel Spa — have received much world-wide acclaim and recognition with many awards between them, one of which being voted number 1 and number 2 best spas in Australasia South Pacific Region by Conde Naste Traveller.
They were also voted as the 10th and 25th best spas in the world. No other destination in the world had two spas listed in the top 25.
