Further Palm Cove Beach Information

The population of Palm Cove is a combination of local residents and visitors. The residents and business take great pride in their beach and maintain it to high standards — that’s why Palm Cove has been named “Queensland’s Cleanest Beach”, “Far North Queensland’s Friendliest Beach”, and impressively, “Australia’s Cleanest Beach”. This strong community atmosphere enters every aspect of Palm Cove, from late afternoon strolls along the sand to friendly driving directions given to lost tourists. While other beaches in the Cairns region do combine local living with travellers, Palm Cove sets the standard.

Palm Cove also has it's very own beachfront Markets - which is on the first Sunday of the month and stretches along Williams Esplanade under the shade of the paperbark trees.  The markets featurs entertainment for the kids, local musicians, arts & crafts, gifts and local produce.

Palm Cove is unique for its jetty. No other beach in Cairns has this feature that kids love and fishermen revere. A morning walk along the beach gets an extra spice when you can walk out along the jetty and take in fabulous views of the Palm Cove and the adjoining beaches of Clifton Beach and Kewarra Beach.

All facilities and attractions at Palm Cove are within walking distance of your accommodation.

All in all, Palm Cove beach has to be one of the best world-wide holiday destinations to experience.
