Departs from Port Douglas at 8:15am - destination the Outer Great Barrier Reef
You will reach your destination in 1.5 hours during that time relax on the fly bridge or front deck.
Horseshoe Reef: Snorkelling time
After a few hours of snorkeling guests enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out to deeper waters to catch some magnificent pelagic fish.
The day’s itinerary can be tailored to your desires.
Depending on the age of guests on board, their confidence in the water, and other aspects such as weather conditions, you may prefer to simply explore Low Isles.

IN-WATER RESTRICTIONS
Scuba Diving Restrictions
- Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
- Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
- Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
- Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing.
We understand things may change, so we have made cancellations very easy.
In every instance we always recommend you purchase travel insurance for life’s last-minute hiccups.
Please see our terms and conditions for details prior to booking.
Operators policy:
- Should a charter be cancelled, the deposit is forfeited.
- Should a charter be cancelled within 72 hours of departure, the full charter cost is forfeited.
- If the skipper deems it unsafe to travel on the intended travel day due to weather or tidal conditions, all moneys paid will be refunded to the charterer.
- Should Closehaven Pty Ltd be unable to provide a vessel for use during the intended charter period, the Company reserves the right to be able to cancel the charter, at which time all deposits will be refunded.
- In the event of such a cancellation, Closehaven Pty Ltd is not liable for any costs or damage incurred by the charterer as a result of the cancellation.
- This cancellation policy applies unless there are exceptional circumstances which are dealt with by Company management on a case-by-case basis.
DISCRETION
- Reef and fishing charters are subject to the discretion of both Company management and your Captain, as well as weather conditions and availability.
- Please note that refunds will only be offered if the Captain of the vessel deems it unsafe to proceed with a charter.

- ***Full payment must be obtained at time of booking for any charters booked within a peak period time frame.***
