Our boat is a 43ft luxury HMG game boat. She is fitted with twin 3208 Cat engines and cruises on 20 knots with a top speed of 25knots, made of fibreglass and weighs in at around 19 tons.

Her deck is very beamy giving anglers ample room & offers extended private charters on the Great Barrier Reef.

All charters depart the Cairns Marlin Marina & take you to the beautiful waters of the world famous Great Barrier Reef.

The Skipper will pick the best fishing locations on the day to ensure you have every chance at catching some beautiful table fish or have some fun with fighting fish.

Cairns Charter Boats - Accommodation Extended Overnight Fishing Charters

No matter what fishing type your are booking your overnight private fishing charter for, she sleeps a maximum of 4 anglers comfortably. The boat's layout consists of one double bed in the forward private cabin, two single bunks in the centre, opposite a very roomy bathroom fitted with a full size shower, vanity and toilet. The crew sleep upstairs in the fly deck area.

For the guest entertainment CD, DVD, VCR, TV and Surround Sound will set the mood with the comfort of air-conditioning throughout the saloon.  Ample refrigeration and freezer space are a plus and she is fitted with a water desalinator to ensure we have ample fresh water at all times. The galley is fully equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, and gas stovetop for gourmet meals after a hard days fishing on the outer Great Barrier Reef. Our boat is not lacking in the electronics department with state of the art Sounder/Plotter, GPS, Radar and VHF/UHF radio, we are sure to find the fishing hot spots for our anglers.

Overnight livaboards are from Cairns to Lizard Island, other requests are welcome

Lizard Island is a world famous hideaway resort for the rich, famous and guests that are just looking to hide away from the world and it offers the ultimate in seclusion and luxury. For this combination of an island/ Cairns fishing holiday we suggest a minimum of 7 days. Anglers can also fly to Lizard Island ex Cairns and be transferred to the vessel each day after breakfast - How civilised!

A day out with the family or friends for a combination of snorkelling and fishing is the perfect combinations so please just ask us for a quote and for the availability.

What fish can I expect to catch on the Great Barrier Reef?

We operate all year round, specialising in Giant Black Marlin fishing during the months of September through December and Light Tackle Sports fishing year round for species such as Spanish Mackerel, Yellow fin Tuna, Trevally and Barracuda.

Popper Casting is very popular for enthusiastic anglers in search of Giant Trevally. Juvenile Black Marlin and Sailfish as well as Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and Cobia are predominant in our waters in the later months of the year when the water is the perfect temperature.

How can I get to Cairns to meet the boat?

Transfers or hire cars can be arranged, simply ask us to make those arrangements for you when booking your fishing charter.  We depart the Marina at around 8.00am and return by approx. 5.00pm to 6.30pm weather dependant.

What does the Cairns charter boat tour include?

All bait & quality tackle, lunch, tea, coffee, soft drinks and water are supplied. Overnight live aboard include all meals & linen.

Can I take my catch home?

We are a sport fishing boat so of course at the end of each fight and a quick photo to brag to your mates it is best to release these fine fish to be able to fight another day.

What to bring?

Don’t forget your wide brimmed hat, Sun Protection Clothing, Sunscreen, Camera to capture that exciting moment & a few beers is ok too. Overnight live aboard don’t forget your toothbrush & Pyjamas.
