Guest comment: Sitting on the beach I watched for half an hour large colorful reef fish feeding on shoals of little fishes! So amazing as I did not expect to see that much marine life when I woke up this morning what a nice surprise.

Low Isles is a historic part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Named by Captain Cook himself in 1770. These cays were the site of the very first extensive scientific study of a coral reef anywhere in the world in 1928. Visitor numbers have always been limited to protect this beautiful island for future generations to enjoy as we do today. Our guests just love this snorkel tour because it suits all types of people and all age groups and the marine life is so plentiful especially the sea turtles which are the big attraction.

A great day, except for the weather, but this can't be helped. The snorkling tour with the Marine Biologist was very informative and seeing the coral and fish from the glass bottom boat was also good. The crew was very well informed and provided excellent information. Lunch was terrific and plenty for all. A rather rocky trip back due to the wind, but the crew kept an eye on all passengers to ensure they were safe and anyone who was feeling seasick were well taken care of.
