Two Day Two Night Sailing the Whitsundays

Your overnight accommodation for the next few days on the Great Barrier Reef is a yacht designed with space and comfort in mind. This catamaran is simply the best way to explore the coves, bays and crystal waters of the Whitsundays. With a spacious saloon and broad decks, you can choose inside dining or al fresco style.

Once amidst the lace like coral gardens and branching forests, the possibilities are endless. Any given moment could produce a sea turtle, lagoon ray or even a dolphin. And every single day, without fail, there will be the presence of Angels, Parrots, Damsels, starfish and giant clams in a startling array of yellows, greens, purples and every dreamy blue imaginable.

With its pure fine white sand and azure bay, Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island deserves its esteemed crown as one of the top five most beautiful beaches on our entire planet. The shimmering white sand is 98 per cent pure silica, and if you gather a handful and exfoliate your jewellery in it, the grains will produce a dazzling sheen on your precious metal. You’ll also enjoy walking barefoot on this sublime beach in the heat of the day as, unlike regular sand, the silica sand on Whitehaven Beach doesn’t retain heat.

Hill Inlet, located at the northern end of the beach, is an absolute must see. Take a short walk up the hill to the lookout at Tongue Point for breathtaking views of the blended white and blue hues of the inlet.
