• Our charter boat is based in Townsville and we can arrange the private charter tours to also depart from Magnetic Island on request.
• We will call into secluded bays around Magnetic Island and do some snorkelling and meet some of the local marine life on the fringing reefs.
• Our luxury racing yacht is available for half day or full day charters on the Great Barrier Reef in north Queensland.

Our Vessel

RAG (14m) is a German Frers sloop design, a racing vessel & our smaller vessel. She is one of Syd Fisher's famous vessels named Ragamuffin & she was number 3. Syd Fisher is described as one of Australia's most successful offshore sailor. RAG is a BRING YOUR OWN EVERYTHING option (beverages and nibbles- not catered). This vessel is not suitable for small children 4 years and under, as well as guests with mobility concerns and poor fitness level or limitations. Safety is our highest priority.

ECO Certifications

We are proud to be ECO TOURISM CERTIFIED since 2013. We offer a unique and authentic sailing experience for small groups of guests focussed on caring for our environment, in a natural, relaxed & fun atmosphere. We are committed & passionate about our oceans, reducing environmental impact as much as we can, sailing (rather than motoring) & we have snorkelling procedures in place, with a guide, tender & floating devices, to reduce environmental impact while educating our guests to respect our Reef & marine life. Some examples of how we are reducing our carbon footprint & emissions; our boats are fitted with solar panels, wind generators, water desalination, LED lights & more. Sailing & spending time on board our yachts also educates our guests the importance of conserving water & the importance of appreciating cultural understanding & sustainability, which is naturally provided on board by our crew. 

Our environment, especially the ocean is very important to us, especially being a liveaboard yachty family, sharing our lifestyle, home & ocean backyard with YOU!
