Our Whitsunday Islands sailing holidays capture the true spirit of sailing, and our yacht is still very much a participant in many renowned Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef yacht races. And you’ll find there isn’t a more perfect Whitsundays livaboard yacht for the boating enthusiast! They’ll be ample opportunity to learn the ropes with your expert crew, and even take a turn driving the wind at the helm!
And because this is one vessel that is so regularly utilized in the sailing-world, you’ll do more genuine sailing than most other boats by using an eco-friendly and balmy breeze, rather than the engine! Yet for those who delight in relaxation, this is a brilliant chance to dangle your legs over deck in the azure Great Barrier Reef, and venture on sublime coral reefs with mesmerizing marine life on a sensational snorkelling safari. And after each day of discovery, you’ll spend your evenings in cozy ambience sipping wine under the stars.
Among the 74 isles in this superb tropical collection, you’ll visit a few outstanding exceptions. The Whitsunday Passage leads to the famed Hook and Hayman islands, both remarkable for diverse beauty. Even the sail along the coastline is mesmerizing with its everlasting image of mountainous rainforest. See the endless blue skies, and tapering slopes reflected in the mirror-like lagoon of Nara Inlet.
While anchoring the night at secluded coves in the magical Whitsundays, the evenings can be any dream you envision. There is little you’ll find more beautiful than the mesmerizing sight of a sunset over tropical islands and shimmering lagoons. In welcoming camaraderie within this cozy group, you can watch the moon rise over swaying palms and stargaze in the island twilight.
For those who love the idea of simply zoning out after an adventurous day, feel free to watch on movie on the flat screen TV, or read in the spacious saloon before the waves rock you to sleep.
If you are looking for that special trip of a lifetime, then look no further! The Skipper/Owner of Eureka has 30 years sailing experience and knows the Whitsunday islands like the back of his hand. Snorkelling
All snorkelling equipment is included on board and the amazing crew will take you to the best fringing reefs around the Islands. Here you will snorkel over colourful coral and tropical fish. A chance to really immerse yourself in the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef.
The saying “off the beaten track” comes to mind when talking about Eureka as this is the kind of trip that will not only visit the usual highlights like Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, it also allows you to escape the crowds and visit other pristine areas like hidden caves or a bushwalk up to different Island look outs. If bushwalking is not your thing, not a problem. You can relax on the beach or collect sea shells from the shores.
In the afternoon, you can sit back and relax with the wind whistling through your hair as Eureka chases the best Sunset positions. As long as the weather is kind, the crew will take you across to a secluded beach where you will have sunset snacks and a few drinks to wind down before dinner and reflect on all the wonderful things you have seen and done that day.
It doesn’t matter what the weather is like, Eureka can cater for it all. For those tropical nights when we have a few showers, Eureka has ample space on deck and a waterproof cover to keep everyone dry.
