Sample 3-Day Extended Boat Charter Itinerary

Day 1: Mackay Sand Cay & Agincourt Reef

• Morning: Depart at 8:00 am, enjoying light refreshments as you cruise to the secluded Mackay Sand Cay. This pristine spot is ideal for a snorkel or simply relaxing on the sand.
• Afternoon: Sail to Agincourt Reef, where you can snorkel coral gardens, fish, and try out paddleboarding. Enjoy sunset drinks on the top deck, followed by a gourmet dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Agincourt Reef to St Crispin Reef

• Morning: Start with snorkelling at Agincourt Reef as the marine life awakens. After breakfast, enjoy more water activities or fishing.
• Afternoon: Head to St Crispin Reef, a haven for snorkellers and anglers alike, followed by a sunset and dinner back on board.

Day 3: St Crispin Reef to Opal Reef and Return

• Morning: Snorkel at St Crispin’s, exploring vibrant coral bommies, then head to Opal Reef for a drift snorkel along stunning reef walls.
• Afternoon: Cruise back to Port Douglas, sipping champagne and savouring local cheeses as you pass Snapper Island and Low Isles. Return around 4:00 pm.

Scuba Diving Restrictions

• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
• Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.

• No water activities after alcohol is being consumed
• Luggage storage space is limited, please pack a separate bag (soft bag preferred) just for the trip and we can stow other luggage away for the duration of the trip.

• No minimum age, it really depends on how comfortable parents are with being onboard.
• Children will be required to wear a life vest at all time while on the deck/outside of the boat.
• Parents will need to be vigilant and aware that Monsoon does not have stabilisers, meaning the boat will rock at anchor.
