The complimentary use of wheelchairs (subject to availability) is offered by Skyrail during a Skyrail experience.
Enquiry and confirmation of availability is recommended at time of booking,Skyrail’s gondolas cater to most standard wheelchairs but size and loading requirements mean some types can’t be carried on it.
Doorway Measurements For Wheelchair Access
The wheelchair width cannot exceed 630mm, the length can’t exceed 950mm.
Boarding Access
Wheelchairs must be able to be tilted backwards to enable loading into the gondola,The combined weight of the wheelchair and its occupant must be manageable to enable cableway operators to load the wheelchair,To ensure efficient lifting into gondolas, wheelchairs must have handles,To assist with loading/unloading from gondolas, the optional use of a ramp is available.

All boardwalks at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations have ramp access,The CSIRO Interpretation Centre at Barron Falls Station is accessible,In Kuranda, a wheelchair is available for hire for a small fee (more info at kuranda.org),A courtesy shuttle bus is provided from the Skyrail/Railway stations at Kuranda to convey visitors to the Kuranda markets, which runs every 15 minutes until 2.50pm.

Wheelchairs can’t be carried on the standard coach transfer service to Skyrail.So alternative arrangements can be made, please advise Skyrail in advance if passenger requires this service, at the time of booking or within online booking notes.

Cancellation must be received at least 24 hours prior to travel time - cancellation fee are at the operator's discretion.
No refund for bookings cancelled withihn 24 hours of departure or a No Show.
No refund if passengers don't meet their tour due to tendering issues/delays.
All guests must travel on Skyrail at their pre-allocated departure time as indicated on their boarding ticket.
Once bookings are processed and boarding tickets issued, changes or upgrades on the day of travel are not permitted.
