- Getting There: Whether starting from Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach, detailed directions are provided for self-driving visitors. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are also available for guests at designated accommodations and transit centres.
- What to Bring: Essentials include swimwear, a towel, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable footwear, sunglasses, essential medications, and of course, a camera. Water is provided, but a reusable water bottle is recommended for environmental reasons.
By the end of your 4WD tour, you will have experienced the best of K'gari (Fraser Island) through immersive exploration and engaging storytelling, returning with memories and photos to last a lifetime. - Pickup window is 10 minutes either side of the pickup time. Please be ready and waiting outside the designated pickup location for the entirety of the pickup window

- Under 18 Travellers Policy: All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Child Rates Policy:
- Infants: 1-3 years (inclusive). Infants under the age of 1 year are unable to travel on 4WD coach tours. Free of charge.
- Children: 4-14 years (inclusive): Must share with parents/guardians and use existing bedding.Child rates apply when travelling with at least one (1) paying adult (single share rate).
- Qld law states that all passengers must be suitably restrained including infants. Regulations do not allow infants to be nursed during a tour.
- Booster seats are required, if guests are unable to supply their own, Kgari Explorer Tours can assist. Please request at the time of booking

Additional Tour Operators policy:
• Bookings cancelled more than 48 hours prior to departure will incur no cancellation fee.
• Cancellations within 24-48 hours will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the tour price.
• Cancellation within 24 hours or no show will receive no refund.
• Cancellation fee is based on the total retail rate of the tour including meals and accommodation where applicable.
• Where tour activities are included in accommodate package, the cancellation and refund policy stated above applies.
