Every Hervey Bay whale watching tour is a unique experience and whales are wild animals so there is no guarantee you will see a Humpback Whale.
However we have a very high rate of finding Humpback Whales due to our experience and advanced knowledge of the Hervey Bay waters.
Whilst on your Whale watching tour there is also a chance that you could see Bottlenose Dolphins, Common Dolphins, Australian Humpback Dolphins, turtles, dugongs, sharks, seals and sea birds.
Our Whale watching boat is a stable catamaran that is designed to provide a smooth ride. We don’t go out into open ocean waters but depending on the sea conditions you may experience some motion sickness if you are prone to it.
If you think you may experience motion sickness there are medications that you can take prior to boarding the Whale watching cruise.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacy for advice on which is right for you. In addition to this you can also eat ginger, sao biscuits and bananas to ease this feeling.
Our Whale watching yacht cruises at approximately 7 – 8 knots motoring – greater with wind speed.
The boat is surveyed for 30 passengers but we limit numbers to around 24 for passenger comfort.
