Alternate Itinerary Until Further Notice

Morning

• 7:15 am: Pick-up from Cairns accommodation.
• 8:15 am: Pick-up from Northern Beaches, then head north along the Cook Highway.
• 9:00 am: Stop at Rex Lookout for a photo opportunity.
• 10:00 am: Travel through Port Douglas to Mossman Gorge.
• 11:00 am: Arrive at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre, meet with Traditional Owners, and experience a "Welcome to Country" and smoke ceremony. Transfer to the gorge for a guided rainforest walk and optional swim (weather permitting).
• 12:45 pm: Depart for a scenic drive to Daintree Village.

Afternoon

• 1:30 pm: Arrive at Daintree Village Hotel for a delicious lunch.
• 2:30 pm: Wildlife and Crocodile Spotting Cruise on the Daintree River (optional).
• 4:15 pm: Scenic drive back south, including a photo stop in Port Douglas.
• 6:00 pm: Return to Northern Beaches.
• 6:30 pm: Return to Cairns.

• In the afternoon, take to the water on the Daintree River for an optional wildlife cruise. Keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles and learn about the unique ecosystem of this ancient river system.

Explore Cape Tribulation and the Daintree Rainforest

• Continue north after crossing the Daintree River, where you'll enjoy lunch at Turtle Rock Café before heading to the Marrdja Botanical Boardwalk. Here, your guide will provide expert insights into the diverse plant life and ecosystems within this ancient rainforest.
