DAY 1. CAIRNS – BAMAGA
Fly from Cairns to Bamaga. Airport transfers included + tour to Cape York Tip. Tonight we stay at Roko Island in beautiful eco tents on the beach.
DAY 2. BAMAGA TO ROKO ISLAND
Full Day Private Fishing Charter with own Skipper/Fishing Guide. Tonight we stay on Roko Island in beautiful Eco tents on the beach.
DAY 3. FISHING ON ROKO ISLAND
Roko Island; Full Day Private Fishing Charter with own Skipper/Fishing Guide. Second night on Roko Island in Eco tents.
DAY 4. ROKO ISLAND - THURSDAY & HORN ISLAND
We transfer by boat to Thursday and Horn Island with WWII history tour. Wonderful lunch included at the Grand Hotel. Accommodation and dinner is back on Roko Island.
DAY 5. HORN ISLAND - CAIRNS
Before the guests transfer to the Airport their guide will take you to a private swimming spot before their travels home. Horn Island to Cairns including transfers to Horn Island airport and airport pick-up on arrival in Cairns with our Cape York fishing tour team.
Our Cape York fishing tour is not just all about fishing, its also an opportunity for our Cape York tour guides to show you the pearls of Far Northern Australia with a visit to the pearl farm.
Roko Pearls has been one of a few pearl farms producing White South Sea pearls directly in the location where the first cultured pearl was born, the Torres Strait in Far North Queensland.
Enjoy chatting to the owner of the pearl farm as he takes us around the pearl farm and show you how to culture these exotic pearls.
Cairns to Cape York
Board your scenic flight at the Cairns airport and strap yourself in for a delightful flight along the eastern coastline and the Great Barrier Reef to Bamaga.
From your seat you will see coral reef, sand cays and remote islands and even the World Heritage listed rainforest of FAr North Queensland. Things get a little more arid as we head further north into Cape York but the scenery is just as exciting.
Cape York To Cairns
At the end of our 5 day fishing tour we re-board the aircraft for a return scenic flight back to Cairns where we farewell our new found fishing friends and return to our hotels.

A deposit of 35% is required to secure the booking
Full payment due 65 days prior to travel
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND buying personal Travel Insurance to avoid paying any cancellation fees!
• 60 or more Days – Loss of initial deposit payment made
• 59-51 Days – 50% of tour price plus the loss of initial deposit payment made
• 50 Days – 100% of tour price
If you need to cancel your tour for any circumstances relating to COVID-19 the non-refundable deposit may be transferred to an available Cape York departure in 2022 or later.
Final payment is due 65 days prior to departure. For tours departing in less than 65 days full immediate payment is required. As this tour is accessing remote areas, the tour itinerary may change due to weather and road conditions and this is the decision of the operator. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND all attending passengers have their own TRAVEL insurance.
Cancellations due to Government border closure or closure of remote areas due to a COVID cases or lockdown will be issued a credit. There will be no extra cost and will be valid for 18 months, not including any increase in cost of flights.
To align with local Government requests, travellers on North West Australian Safaris must be up to date with required vaccinations and able to produce their COVID-19 digital certificate on request before boarding.
Also please note, although our walks are not strenuous, for all clients over 80, a note from their doctor to confirm they are in good health and can walk comfortably is required.
