The Reef Magic pontoon offers a variety of activities for all levels of adventure. Snorkel in the beautiful coral lagoon or join a Guided Snorkel Safari with a Marine Biologist. For more experienced divers, there are opportunities for Scuba Diving and Sea Trek Helmet Diving.
Our pontoon is a state of the art interactive pontoon for guests to explore a lagoon full of coral gardens and brilliant marine life on the Great Barrier Reef.
This floating pontoon is over 1003sqm, comprising of three levels with a capacity to accommodate 450 day guests but we will be keeping our daily numbers up to 250 guests only for the best experience possible.
The two level floating pontoon will be powered using the sustainable energy of 18 solar panels and 3 wind turbines.
With a unique and easy water entry point for swimming and snorkelling, a fully functional scientific laboratory for Great Barrier Reef research and projects.
These floating pontoons are excellent for familes, snorkellers, scuba divers and even those that are non-swimmers or if you just do not wish to get wet but still want to enjoy every aspect of the opportunity to see the Great Barrier Reef.

Moore Reef is one of the Great Barrier Reef’s most beautiful locations just off Cairns with lots of variety in the underwater flora and fauna.

Minimum age restriction for scuba diving is 12 years in Australia. Certain medical conditions (e.g Asthma, epilepsy, high blood pressure) may exclude people from diving.

Helmet diving or Sea Trek is a great option for those who are a little nervous of the full scuba diving gear methods or for people who are non-swimmers but still wish to see the under water world of the Great Barrier Reef.
Helmet divers have the opportunity to explore down to 3 metres depth, without even getting your hair wet while a staff member carefully watches over you.
A large bubble is placed over your head, allowing you total viewing abilities without the hassle of dive gear.

Semi-Submersible Tour - Semi-Submersible Tours all have a steep decline to enter the vessel . It is not recommended, however this will depend on the severity of disability.
You must arrange your own local transport in advance.

Operator’s Cancellation Policy:
A cancellation fee of 100% will apply if less than 24 hours notice is given prior to departure.
Some services may be cancelled or modified as a result of weather/tidal conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the rare event that Reef Magic needs to cancel, the guest will be provided with an alternate day of travel, offered another Reef Unlimited product, or a full refund.
