About The Cairns Charter Boat

She is a 16 metre sailing schooner with 2 main sails and a jib (spinnaker) with a large wheel in the cock pit for steering

Caters for up to 30 guests (surveyed to carry up to 52 - numbers dependant on tour requirements)

Aft section of boat has shade covers and in summer the forward deck also has a small shade canopy

Sailing time to Pinnacle Reef is around 2 hours and guests have around 4.5 hours to experience the pristine reef that sits approximately 1 kilometre off shore from Green Island

Please note:-Guests must be able to get in and out of a dinghy should they wish to go across to Green Island and participate in other in water activities or see the crocodile feeding display at Marineland Melanesia

• Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from scuba diving.
• Participation is subject to a medical questionnaire completed on board with the tour operator
• Minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
• Flying after scuba diving: a wait of 12 hours is recommended after one dive, 18 hour after 2 dives and at least 24 hours after multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater.
