Crystal Cascades is a popular swimming hole with locals, you will venture above and beyond the general swimming area until it’s just you, your canyon guides and fellow adventurers high up in the mountains with a flowing freshwater creek leading down below you to – your playground for the day.

You will be suited up with all the safety gear including harness, helmet and canyoning boots to ensure you have a safe and comfortable time as you slide, jump and abseil down the canyon gorges.

Your canyoning guides will give you an equipment and safety briefing and will ensure everyone is happy and ready before starting the canyoning fun.

Over 2-3 hours you will abseil, zip-line, rock-slide, jump and swim down the canyon, through waterfalls, crystal-clear pools and epic boulder formations, stopping to take some action shots along the way to capture the memories of your adventure.

A light lunch and refreshments are also provided to keep your energy up!

Abseiling at Crystal Cascades

• Conquer your fears and drop backwards off a cliff secured by only a rope! Abseiling is an adrenaline rush like no other letting you control your own ride as you descend down beside rushing waterfalls.
• Used by professional rope access technicians around the world to access otherwise unreachable places, you’ll be using the same technique to safely make your way down the Crystal Canyon via abseiling.
• This tour involves up to 5 abseils of different heights the largest being 32 metres high!

Zip-lining at Crystal Canyon

• The highlight of the tour for many people is the huge 30m zip-line where you fly down along a rope to splash down in a pool of water.
• Your highly-experienced guides set up a zip-line along the way with two lines to ensure maximum safety.
• Even if you’ve been on normal zip-line tours before you’re sure to get a thrill out of this unique zip-line over a flowing creek!

Rock-sliding at Crystal Cascades

• The flow of water over thousands of years has formed smooth, polished natural waterslides that are perfect for sliding down into the pools below.
• Your specially designed padded under-shorts will protect you as you slide on the smooth rocks.

Rock Jumps at Crystal Canyon

• Sometimes the only way down is to jump! This tour has up to 2 rock jump opportunities 4 metres and (optional) 10 metres high, so there is something for everyone.
• There’s always a different option if you’re not feeling up to the jump but with deep clear water and highly qualified guides keeping watch this is the best and safest opportunity for you to feel the thrill of cliff jumping.

• Waivers are emailed to the customer and required to be filled out prior to tour commencing
• Age: Guests under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Behana Canyon has a minimum age of 8 years or older, everything on this course is optional. Crystal Canyon has a minimum age of 12 years or older, majority of this course is not optional.
• Pregnancy: Not allowed during any stage of your pregnancy.
• Fitness Levels: We accept your challenge to cater to everyone’s pace, size & ability.
• Swimming Levels: Guests need to have a very basic level of confidence to manovere in the water.
• Medical Conditions: Please advise diet requirements, allergies, surgeries, impairments, or disabilities that may affect your level of enjoyment on the day & so we can best cater to you.
• You must be able to swim. If participant is found to have no swimming ability or insufficient level of fitness, participant will have to cease the tour and forfeit 100% of total price paid.
• Water levels affects the running of this tour; if the water levels are not sufficient on day of travel your tour will run from Behana Gorge
