Wedding Transport

Reliability is of the utmost importance to make sure you get to the church on time.

Breakdowns can happen, so ask what the alternative arrangements would be. Confirm all booking details in writing, stating the pick-up times and the addresses of the bride's Cairns or Port Douglas resort or hotel the church and wedding reception venue.

Double check everything the week before. Have a practice drive in your own vehicle beforehand on the matching day and time of your wedding so that you can specify the exact pick-up times, allowing for a slower journey for a horse and carriage and any possible traffic hold-ups.   • The bride arrives with her father or other close family member.

After the wedding ceremony

  • The bride and bridegroom leave first for the reception or for more wedding photography
  • The bride's parents leave next
  • They are followed by the rest of the bridal party and guests
  • Last to leave is the best man who will make sure all the guests have transport to the wedding reception
