As soon as you set the date for your Cairns Tropical North Queensland wedding it is now when you need to start planning your dream honeymoon and include it in your wedding budget.
Your Cairns honeymoon will be one of the most important points of the planning process, it is important for you and your new husband to get away together to spend some quiet time after the big wedding day to relax and reflect on things and start plannning your exciting new life together.
Many good Honeymoon Islands in Tropical North Queensland resorts in Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas offer specific honeymoon packages or specific rooms within an island resort that are fitted out especially for the romantic private time you were both dreaming of.
These honeymoon packages are normally booked out well in advance during the Cairns dry season which also happens to co-incide with being the most popular time of year for a Cairns wedding due to the perfect balmy weather conditions whilst the rest of the country is in freezing winter mode. Some considerations to think about whilst making your honeymoon plans are where you actually want to go like an offshore island or on a private charter boat or even a deep sea liveaboard scuba diving adventure and how much time you can take off work to be away together.
Do you want to keep the celebrations going and have some fun night clubbing in Cairns or Port Douglas, both vibrant party area's, or spend some time in a relaxing beach destination like Palm Cove with daily pampering by massuers, or how about a secluded rainforest destination like the Daintree Cape Tribulation Rainforest where you can go hiking, sea kayaking, horse riding along the beach, and enjoying luxurious spa treatments.
If you are still confused then consult the Cairns Holiday Specialists and let them put together the ideal honeymoon package for you at a price you can afford. Whilst you are away enjoying your Cairns honeymoon, there are a few things that will need doing... If you are leaving the wedding reception to go to a hotel, or if you are off on honeymoon immediately, ask someone to be responsible for you and collect your wedding outfits and to also take your presents and store them for you or arrange to have them shipped back home. At the same time they may speak to all of your other guests and see if they have any specific special moments they would like to talk about on video the next day for you to view upon your return.
If you provided disposable cameras at your wedding, then arrange for someone to collect then at the end of the day and have them processed. This would normally be the chief bridesmaids or chief groomsmans job to co-ordintate this with maybe one or both of your parents. Also don't forget to ask someone to return any hired or borrowed items.
Arrange for wedding cake to be sent to those who did not attend the wedding. (N.B. Wedding cake should also be sent to all those who did not attend your wedding but who gave you a wedding gift.)
And last but not least ask one of your friends or your wedding photographer to send details of your wedding to the local newspapers and ask all of your friends and family to upload your wedding images and videos to their facebook pages so those guests that were unable to attend may also share in the joy of your wedding celebration.
