Cape Tribulation is a small town nestled at the tip of the Daintree, approximately 2 hours north of Port Douglas. This stunning little village was named by Captain Cook himself and got the name ‘tribulation’ as this was the location where all his trials and tribulations begun. Cape Tribulation is about an hour from the Daintree River and is a great jump off point to explore the many wonders of this region.
