Just go to websites like www.cairnsaccommodation.com and look in the top left corner for the wheel chair logo and the “Disabled Access” then tick the box and hit the “Search” button and all the accommodation, tours and sightseeing that caters for persons with disabilities will show in the pages below so scroll down to each property or tour and when one takes your interest just hit the “More Information” button and read about the facilities to see if they suit your personal needs.
In the same widget in the top left hand corner you can search for accommodation in Cairns Beaches, Palm Cove and Port Douglas just by hitting the destination drop down tab.
Beach Wheelchair Hire Palm Cove & Port Douglas
If you like being on the beach on sunrise or sunset then why not hire one of the city councils beach wheelchairs so you can wheel along the shore line as you please. Beach wheelchairs can be hired in Palm Cove and Port Douglas but please make the arrangements prior to your arrival in Cairns. In Palm Cove you can contact the Surf Club
And for the beach accessible wheelchair in Port Douglas contact the guys at Macrossan House in advance of your holiday arrival date.
