Location: Caravonica (Approx. 15 minutes from Cairns and Northern Beaches)

Wheelchair Accessibility: Good

Facilities

  • 2 designated wheelchair toilets located near the Dance Theatre.
  • Designated wheelchair viewing area for lake side performances.
  • Ramp to front entrance.
  • Wheelchair accessible activities throughout park, slight inclines will be encountered assistance may be needed.

Activities

  • The dance theatre is accessible by the bridge over the lake, it has a small incline. There is a designated wheelchair area at the top of the seating area.
  • The cultural village is accessible, enjoy hunting tools/methods and bush tucker presentations, boomerang and spear throwing is located on the grassed area which is level.
  • The restaurant has good clearance between tables to allow for easy wheelchair movement.

Transfers

  • Coaches utilised have limited room for collapsible wheelchair and will need to be able to negotiate 2- 3 steps.
  • Wheelchair accessible taxis available.
  • Disabled parking available next main entrance.
