The Great Barrier Reef is one of the world’s most unique and amazing marine spectacles. It extends for 2300kms along the north eastern coast of Australia and consists of about 2900 individual reefs, covering an area the size of the United Kingdom.

This World Heritage-listed marine park supports the greatest concentration of life on the planet with over 1,500 species of fish, 350 different corals, 4,000 species of molluscs and 10,000 species of sponges.

Humpback and Minke whales frequent these waters from May to September, October and put on a lively display for the boats, breaching and tail slapping and gazing up at guests whilst they are snapping photographs of them.

The water temperature in the Cairns region ranges from a lovely 22 — 39 Celsius (75 — 85 Fahrenheit), making for year round diving comfort.

Why not combine your 3 day dive trip on the Great Barrier Reef with continuing your dive education? These are a few options for you to choose from.
